Great Cruise
by A Traveler from Port Charlotte Florida
Sailing date:
Jul 2010
Pros:
The dining staff and our room staff were wonderful...The Captain was great!
Cons:
Why do people think once they get on a cruise ship they don't have to be responsible or give a darn about where their kids are......again we had to put up with kids running and screaming through the hallways at 2 in the morning....why do parents think that is ok?
The ship was a little smaller than we had expected and a bit older. The staff totally made up for that, they were wonderful and I was amazed to see the Captain participating in a lot of on board activities.

Fantastic First Cruise
by Eric from St. Louis, MO
Sailing date:
Mar 2010
Pros:
Service, Variety of Activities
Cons:
None of any consequence!
My wife and I chose this cruise for our honeymoon, and are very happy with our experience. We just got an oceanview room on one of the lower decks, and that was more than adequate for the two of us. If you get claustrophobic I'd recommend paying more for a larger room, but our room was fine. Our room attendant was very helpful and really took care of our accomodations and making sure we were satisfied. The My Time Dining was a great thing; we could eat whenever we wanted, but if you grow attached to a certain waiter or staff, it's best to make a reservation, which wasn't difficult to do. Our waitstaff was wonderful; the assistant remembered our preferred drinks after just one evening, and they really work hard to make sure you're satisfied. There were plenty of activities on the ship to keep you busy on sea days as well. This isn't the largest ship Royal Caribbean has, but there was still more than enough to do.

Dining/Food
Because we had "my time dining" i felt we were not given great seating. Dining room (main) noisy, service ok, food ok, yet you could always find something if hungry.
Stateroom Quality
Great, clean, spacious. We had a queen bed, sitting area, and balcony. Shower although small was awesome. Great water pressure and water temps. Sheets ultra comfy. Bring your own toiletries, none available except shampoo in a dispenser and small bars of soap.
Ship Staff Quality
With a few exceptions, overall very good. A few of the staff seemed irritated to go the extra mile.
Entertainment & Activities
Variey shows fun, average performances. Adult comic FANTASTIC, only wish it had been longer. Laughed so hard was crying. Music variety was also excellent. Bingo was a blast too.

Jul 2008
Pros:

Cons:

You really have to go on this ship. It's the best. It's just so glamorous so beutiful, it took my breath away. It's like a floating five star hotel. All you need to do is book it.
