	Overall Rating: About the Reviewer: Age: 30 - 49 Cruise Experience: First cruise Traveler Type: Couple Stateroom Type: Balcony What a spectacular trip! by Jill B from Vermont Sailing date: Apr 2009 Pros: The service on the ship was exceptional, and the excursions were outstanding! Cons: Too much Disco music in the lounges. This was our first cruise. We thought we'd enjoy it, but had no idea that we would encounter the level of service, excellent food, and overall friendliness that we did. I felt pampered from the moment I stepped aboard and was handed the drink of the day, to the excellent instruction given to us by the Discover Scuba instructors on the excursions. Ship Details: Ship Quality The boat was Huge and in excellent shape. We saw the crew cleaning constantly, and empty plates cleared the minute you set down your fork. There were plenty of deck chairs for the days at sea, and many options for spending time indoors or out. We were never bored. Dining/Food We were seated with other couples our same age who we did not know before the cruise, and ended up enjoying the company of the "table mates" very much! It's a nice thing to run into other people you know and have people to compare notes on "what to do where and when". The food options were great, and you could order more then 1 thing off the menu. Stateroom Quality Very clean; they cleaned several times a day! Ship Staff Quality All smiles and helpful people. The Cruise Director was very funny! Entertainment & Activities Some ot the entertainment was not in the area I would prefer, but we made our own fun. The comedians in general were great. 15 out of 16 people found this review helpful.
